Artist's Comments

Heh heh, I can never think of good titles, props to Jesse for this.

I'm proud of the coloring, though I need to work on drawing feet and hands more. I was going to paint a whole underwater background thing, but I decided to go the simple route this time. I also inked this on the computer, which is something I haven't done since [link] . It takes longer, but its much cleaner. I think I'm getting better at it!

Criticism is welcome, tips on how to draw good feet are very welcome!

I love the coloring too. Purple shading is always a winner if you want exciting paintings. The feet look fine for this case, but the anatomy overall seems a bit stiffer than usual- bottom parts of the begs tend to curve backward ever so slightly. I mean, the body could stand less straight lines. The overall mood of the piece is supposed to be peaceful and appealing, and curved lines can add to that.

wow very nice :) I love the smooth lines and the soft colors in this picture. Also the way the fabric softly swirling around her is see-threw, see threw stuff for me, is so tough. I can never get it right lol :)

My fav is the sepent/dragon creature down there, so cool and sleek. :) Sleek stuff rock! :) wonderful pic!

The coloring on this is certainly marvelous, and you have every right to be proud of it.

The part that bothers me a bit is her stomach. The way her body's turned so slightly suggests that the placement of her belly button is a bit off, at least to me. The feet look fantastic, much better than anything I've ever done as far as feet go.

That's not irony. That's omniprescence! -=Oohoo

*PWFA ~ STILL a pervert after all this time.

Very clean lines and the cool-tone colouring enhances the magical look of it.

I like the colors in this, especially the golden hue of her skin tone. Can't help out with the feet tho, drawing feet & hands was the bane of my existence in life drawing... @_@

Yeah, shading with purple is always my favorite thing to do

You're absolutely right! I realise that not only the anatomy, but the pose is all stiff. Thanks for pointing that out, you are a god :worship:
:iconiduck:
Yeah I suppose she's pretty skinny :giggle: Whoops!

I also love the dragon, he was fun to draw.
:iconiduck:
Yeah the transparent cloth took a while 3 layers to accomplish. One layer being behind her, one layer being in front of her, and one layer giving the highlights of the cloth.

The dragon is awesome, I want one :giggle:
