It reminds me of the classic animated Robin Hood...I loved that movie...
I love the whole character, but one side of the bow looks like a recurve bow and one doesn't. And the handle doesn't seem in the center. He could be holding it there, just move that red part.

I dunno, I've always seen overly elaborate backgrounds as distractions from the characters in the picture; however, they can be great if they are the focus.

I really like this picture, though... great work.

Beautifully done!! He is so nice looking with a good handsome face! He looks very cautious, listening to the faintest of suspicious sounds ^_^ Love the unique hunting outfit, including the shawl. And the foggy background provides good contrast and a feeling of danger. Beautiful work!

A 'boring swamp' can nevertheless be moody and well-fitting, as in this case it goes very well with the pose. Perhaps a subtle ground fog around his feet might help 'wrap' the background around the character a little more, but that's more of a suggestion than anything else. Great stuff
