-TUTORIALS-

Fri Sep 23, 2005, 11:26 AM
Update: Been a while since I have updated this thing. Though it's mostly removing links that don't work anymore rather than adding new ones. And now I have a list of all good reference sites at the bottom that I have come across!

---------------------------------------

Well here it is, as promised. My complete list of tutorials. Mind you it's ganna be updated every so often if I find newer and better ones.

----------------------------------------

General

[link] - Nethersphere - general coloring in photoshop, and how to make shineys! (my personal favorite tutorial site)

[link] - Fernblossom - tips and tricks about scanning, sketching, coloring, and drawing different furries

[link] - FARP - a whole wack of different tutorials, anything from drawing dragons to composition and drawing humans

[link] - Polykarbon - how to draw hands, feet, and how to color in photoshop using layers

[link] - Neondragon Art - how to draw dragons, wings, people, and tips in photoshop

[link] - Makeshift Miracle - basically everything you need to know about making your own comic and digital painting

[link] - Comic Colors - tips on how to draw, ink, write and color comics

[link] - Starfinder - how to digitally color realistic eyes and fur

[link] - Ruggles - coloring, inking and whatnot

Specifics

[link] - Screentones

[link] - Stars

[link] - Realistic clouds

[link] - Perspective

[link] - Pen tool in photoshop

[link] - lighting

Reference Sites:

[link] - Google Images - one of the more obvious ones, though you must sort though a lot of poor quality images before finding a good one

[link] - Human Anatomy Pictures - Very good site for learning portportions and such. Interesting poses are hard to find here, it's full of the basic boring 'just standing there' pose.

[link] - Corbis - One of the best sites there, great quality control, tons of animal pics. Only downside is that you hafta sign up to get rid of the watermarks, but I think it's worth it.

[link] - Flickr - Once you sort through everyone's "look at me and my friends!" pics, there are some high quality ones there.

[link] - Wetcanvas Reference Library - Similar to DA's stock category, but a bit better organization I find.

Other

[link] - one big list of tutorials

---------------------------------------

If you know of any more good sites, let me know and I'll add it here!

Who needs tutorials when you can teach yourself! Unless you're like dyslexic then if you write the textbook you can be in for all sorts of trouble...
